The couch arrived in a large cardboard box with the backs of the seats off. This made it very easy to move and get in my bedroom through a door which is only 28 inches wide so if getting it through your house is a concern don't worry. Getting the backs on took a total of 3 minutes max. No tools you just slide it on and it clicks into place its isn't rocket science. I was a little worried about the size of the couch based off of the reviews saying that a 5'8 person felt like a giant in it and that it is too small. IDK what kind of sofas these people are used to but I am a 6'2 400lbs dude and its plenty tall and wide for me. When fully reclined the leg rest reaches just below my ankle so if I bend my leg even a fraction of a degree I can have my feet resting on it with no issue. Overall the couch is great and I'm not sure if the people that wrote the negative reviews even got the same couch. The only one I do agree with is the one involving the color. They are right that the couch isn't fully grey it's more of a slate color with a little bit of a brown hue so if you want fully grey that's not what this is. That being said I like the color so not much of a complaint there. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a couch to put in a bedroom or man cave.

After 2 attempts to purchase a couch from Ashley's it didn't go well.1rst attempt I never received my couch just an email stating I was getting a refund & carriers broke it. After arguing to re purchase the couch the price went up over $200.00 I finally gave in & purchased another one.Couch was delivered & after opening box couch was a different color then I ordered.Couch shows 3 colors it can be bought in Dark Brown/Brown/ GrayI purchased Dark Brown & a Gray Couch was delivered after arguing with 10 different chats on Amazon Customer Service with NO help I ended my chat. I then called to speak to a Customer Service Representative & after 5 different people who barely spoke English couldn't help me and or didn't know what to do I just hung up. Ended up asking for another refund n couch to b picked up immediately. Never again will I purchase from an Ashley furniture store through Amazon freaking ridiculous.

We got this for an outstanding price for Black Friday. Not only did it arrive to us sooner than estimated, but it was super easy to put together. Just slip the back cushions on, and hear them snap into place. Just like how our stand alone recliners were, that we gotta couple of years ago. It is stiff, but it's brand new and that's expected. I am sure it will be broken in with use, and in time. So far, we are not regretting our purchase. Can't beat the extremely discounted price we paid for a couch that also reclines.
